1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Melsona, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Contact support@melsona.com with questions.

2. Description of the Service

Melsona creates Karaoke and Lyric Videos from your audio, lyrics and visual media. Manual editing, timing controls, preview and supported watermark-free local 1080p MP4 export are free. Optional account-based cloud AI tools are separate and available only when enabled.

Local export requires compatible desktop browser encoding support, including H.264 and AAC. Keep the page open during export. A local draft is not a cloud backup; you are responsible for keeping copies of your work.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 to use the Service and have parental or guardian consent if under 18, subject to applicable law. Manual editing does not require registration. Account features use Google sign-in through Supabase; keep your credentials secure and use your own account.

4. Acceptable Use

Use the Service lawfully. Do not upload or process content without the necessary rights, infringe another person's rights, impersonate others, submit illegal or abusive material, evade access controls or Credit limits, or disrupt the Service through automation or repeated requests.

5. Your Content and Processing License

You retain the rights you hold in your content. You must have permission to use and, where applicable, upload the music, lyrics, images, videos and other materials you select.

To provide the functions you request, you permit us to process that content: locally for manual editing and export, and through the relevant infrastructure and AI Provider if you explicitly submit an enabled cloud task. This limited permission includes the temporary storage and processing needed to deliver and recover the requested result; it is not a general ownership transfer.

6. Exports and Intellectual Property

An export does not give you rights in music, lyrics or images owned by someone else. You are responsible for the permissions needed for your intended use or distribution. These Terms do not grant rights in third-party content.

The Melsona website, software and branding remain subject to their applicable intellectual-property rights. Review AI results for accuracy before applying or sharing them.

7. Free Features, Credits and Paid Plans

Free manual editing and local export do not consume paid Credits. When enabled, Transcription and Lyrics Alignment cost 1 Credit per audio minute and Vocal Removal costs 2, with partial minutes rounded up. Jobs reserve Credits before execution and settle when a verified result is saved. Applying or not applying an already completed result is not a separate charge or cash-refund entitlement.

Confirmed failed jobs release their reservation according to the original Credit sources. An uncertain Provider result may remain reserved pending review; it is not automatically treated as a confirmed failure.

The configured plans are Free, Lite, Pro and Max. Lite is $9.90 monthly or $99 yearly for 120 Credits each month; Pro is $19.90 or $199 for 300; Max is $39.90 or $399 for 700. One-time packs are $9.90 for 100 Credits and $24.90 for 300. Displayed prices do not mean purchasing is enabled; availability is shown on Upgrade.

New accounts receive 10 Welcome Credits once; existing accounts are not retroactively credited. Welcome and Purchased Credits do not expire. Subscription Credits reset monthly without rollover. Consumption uses Subscription, then Welcome, then Purchased Credits; failure releases do not restore an expired Subscription allowance into a later cycle.

8. Billing, Renewal and Cancellation

Paid purchasing is disabled at this update. When enabled, subscriptions are charged in advance according to the price and billing interval confirmed at checkout, with applicable taxes shown by the payment provider. Annual plans charge once for the year and issue Credits monthly, not all at once. Price changes remain subject to any notice or consent required by applicable law.

Canceling automatic renewal preserves prepaid access through the paid period; annual monthly allowances continue through the paid year. Cancellation is not a refund request. Plan changes and any related charge must be confirmed through the available billing controls; a pending or failed payment does not itself grant Credits.

9. Refunds

Cash refunds are manually reviewed under the Refund Policy. A request may qualify within 14 calendar days of payment if the paid Credits from that purchase are unused. Requests outside that window or after use are generally ineligible; duplicate charges, actual technical failures and applicable legal requirements may qualify for exceptions.

Free editing and free local export are not paid Credit usage. Only eligible unused paid Credits related to a confirmed refund may be revoked; unrelated permanent Credits are not deducted. AI reservation release is separate from a cash refund. Nothing here limits applicable statutory rights.

10. Third-Party Services and Availability

Cloudflare and Supabase support the Service; Google handles optional sign-in. Enabled AI tasks may use ElevenLabs or fal, and enabled payments use the payment provider shown at checkout. Their availability and terms can affect the requested operation. We do not guarantee continuous availability, a particular AI result or processing time.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided as available. Browser storage, local rendering and third-party processing can fail; keep your source files and review results. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim implied warranties and liability for indirect or consequential loss. To the fullest extent permitted by law, total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Suspension and Termination

Access may be restricted for unlawful use, security risks, payment disputes or abuse, subject to applicable law. A suspension does not by itself authorize an unrelated Credit adjustment or automatically resolve a disputed payment. Contact support about account closure; Settings does not currently provide self-service account deletion.

13. Changes to These Terms

Updates are published on this page with a revised date. Review the current Terms before using new features or purchasing. Changes remain subject to any notice or consent required by applicable law.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are subject to applicable law. Nothing here deprives you of mandatory consumer protections or statutory rights. No exclusive court or dispute venue is specified by this page.
